Pemberton Township Historic Trust’s first Toy, Train & Collectible show was a success. Held at the Air Victory Museum in Lumberton, rain didn’t keep the crowd away. There were vendors with toys, trains as well as operating model train layouts ranging from big to small.
Mike Tambascia of the Trust says the event had two missions. One was to promote historic preservation and raise some funds so the trust could keep moving forward. The second mission was to raise awareness of the Air Victory Museum. It contains military aircraft, memorabilia and is a treasure trove of information. You can check them out here
The next train show will be in November at Pemberton High School. The Historic Trust will be at the annual Blueberry Festival at Historic Whitesbog Village June 25 and 26.
